Insurable Crop and Eligibility Requirements:

• The Avocado acreage must be at least 5 years old and have produced at least 2000 pounds per acre in the most recent past.
  
• Acreage must be of the Hass variety.
  

Insured Causes of Loss:

• Damage to fruit due to adverse weather, fire, wildlife, insect damage, disease, or natural disasters.
  

Amount of Insurance

• Avocado Production History:  4-10 years individual yields.
  
• Approved average yield x acres x level x price per lb. = guarantee
