Insurable Crop Eligibility Requirements:

• English walnuts only. (no black walnuts)
  
• 90%  of trees must have reached the 7th growing season after being set out.
  
• Minimum of 5 acres per unit
  

Insured Causes of Loss:

• Any adverse weather resulting in damage to the bloom, poor pollination, lack of production, or damage to the walnuts on the tree or on the ground during harvest (I.e. rain, frost, hail, heat, wind, etc.)
  
• Insects and plant disease with proper disease and pest control measures.
  
• Wildlife, birds, earthquake and fire.
  
• Failure of the irrigation water supply source occurring after March 1.
  

Yield Production Guarantee:

• Yield guarantee is based on the average of past delivered actual production history (APH) of total dry in the shell net pounds from the acreage to be insured.
